Eda explores landscapes as the common ground. She observes nature as a guide for her practice and searches correlations between learnings from nature and societal dynamics. Grounded on bodily perception, she intertwines observations with technology, seeking ways of grasping rhythms surrounding us. Interested in understanding entanglement as our interconnected and interdependent existence, she develops methods of perceiving landscapes as embodied and philosophy practical. Looking for ways of merging the scientific with the spiritual, digital mediums with the physical, Eda uses moving image, kinetics, sounds, ceramics, painting, textiles and photography, to turn her observations of landscapes into fleshy organisms.
She is working from Istanbul.
