They say that if one loves roses one has to bear its thorns. In a few words, pain and is ingrained into love and there is no love without pain or fear. Yet, the thorn loves its rose. With a down-facing sharp tip, there is only one purpose for the thorn: to keep the rose alive. Rose-lover thorn sighs ‘ah!’ when one approaches. Whether it's due to pleasure or pain, may depend on where we stand.
